Providence Student Pharmacy Technician in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Student Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy, Variables, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Understand, embrace, and instill the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Maintain confidentiality and patient information.
Maintain the laminar flow hoods and the working area in an aseptically clean condition.
Practice effective infection control procedures, including preventing transmission of blood borne and airborne diseases.
Prepare non-hazardous and hazardous IV sterile products.
Properly dispose of all materials used when mixing chemotherapy or non-chemotherapy IVs.
Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
Pharmacy Technician in Training Licensure required within 60 days from date of hire into the position.
