Providence Health & Services RN – Nurse Educator in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Clinical Educator (Full time, primarily days) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Be responsible to participate in assessing educational needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs, conferences, and inservices for St. Patrick Hospital’s outreach partnering hospitals.
Assist in staff development and team building activities within the team of SPH educators.
Mentor by role modeling professional practice behavior and providing educational support to all staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
B.S. degree in nursing
Current licensure in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse
American Heart Association (AHA)- Basic life Support (BLS) Certification
5 or more years of experience as registered nurse
Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
Maintains good driving record
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in nursing
Certified instructor for American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS preferred. May be required within 6 months of hire
Clinical Education experience
