Providence Health & Services Occupational Therapist – Acute in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist (OT) (Occupational Therapy,Day Shift, 0.0) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Plan, organize, develop and direct Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be defined by the Rehabilitation Clinical Manager, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.
Continues to assess changes in patient/client status and modifies care plan appropriately to meet goals
Develops objective goals and a plan of care
Follows patient/client care through to completion, including identifying and planning for discharge needs and recommendations for further care
Gathers pertinent information from the medical record and by interviewing patient/client and/or appropriate family members
Required qualifications for this position include:
Education to qualify for Occupational Therapist licensure
Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana
Motor Vehicle record required
FIM required if working with patients in Inpatient Rehab
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- One year of experience in an occupational therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field
