Providence Health & Services Mammography Technologist in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Mammography Technologist (Imaging Services, Day Shift, 0.2 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Completes all paperwork on patient before going on to next patient.
Finishes cases completely or reports to another tech.
Maintains mammography MQSA standards, including procedural, quality control, and personal.
Pre-educates the patient and family prior to exam.
Empties dirty linen daily.
Reports any broken equipment to Bio-Med.
Wipes down machines and C-arms as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Montana State Radiologic License (MSRT)
Registered for Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, surface and visceral anatomy, medical terminology as it related to radiological work and radiation safety procedures and measures
