Providence Health & Services LEAD RN CARE COORDINATOR – Structural Heart Watchman Program in Missoula, Montana
This position is a full-time,
0.8 FTE position within the Structural Heart Program (SH) of the International
Heart Institute (IHI) of Montana. This is a unique opportunity to work within
the SH program as Lead RN for the Watchman program. Responsibilities include
screening referrals for the Watchman device and coordinating the evaluation,
procedure and followup for those patients that receive the device. The ability
to collaborate with various members of the EP CareTeam and SH CareTeam and to
function autonomously are important attributes for success. Strong
organizational and communication skills are required.
In this position you will:
Works closely with the structural heart program manager.
Runs appropriate risk assessment profiles/incremental risk factors prior to valve clinic consultation.
Responsible for thorough chart prepping for valve clinic consultation.
Referrals:initiates and screens all incoming referrals for TAVR or Mitraclip procedures.Ensures appropriate documentation, diagnostics, and new orders are complete prior to office consultation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana State
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Current ACLS required
2 plus years of experience in cardiology nursing
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Cardiovascular Specialty Cert
