Providence is calling a Laboratory Aid I (Clinical Laboratory Services,Variable-shift, 1.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:

  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Promote the HRO culture of the organization

  • Policies and procedures are followed during specimen collection and are performed in a courteous, caring manner consistent with the values of St Patrick Hospital

  • Assure that specimens are transported to the correct area in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure that any specimen that arrives in the laboratory does not go unattended

  • Identify patient by wristband

  • Notify appropriate personnel of problems related to specimen collection or testing

  • Utilize a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to ensure that testing is completed at the appropriate time to meet clinical needs

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Phlebotomy certificate

  • Less than one year experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program
