Providence Health & Services Imaging Scheduler in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling an Imaging Scheduler (Support Services Radiology, Days, 0.8) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Responsible for opening up and blocking additional appointment slots if certain modalities are running behind, or if any special circumstances in progress will affect customer service and our modalities, upon approval.
Help patients in any way capable to make their visit pleasant and productive.
Make suggestions that might help make the department (and therefore St. Patrick Hospital) provide excellent service.
Make suggestions on what might be needed to perform or improve upon this job and this department.
Present in-services or other educational offerings as assigned.
Train new employees if and when asked to by supervisor.
Call for medical necessity/H&P documents as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years administrative, admitting, registrar or similar office work
1 year phone experience such as reception, office admin, and/or operator
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Course work in business or office practices
1 year Scheduling
